Krueger Fine Arts Series
11-18-2013 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Graphic novelist, and Pulitzer Prize winner, Art Spiegelman will share his talents with Lakeland College as a part of this year’s Krueger Fine Arts Series. Spiegelman, best known for his graphic novel, Maus, which is a holocaust narrative where the Nazis are personified as cats, and the Jewish prisoners are portrayed as mice, comes to Lakeland with almost 50 years of experience. Spiegelman will be on campus both Monday, and Tuesday, holding his convocation lecture Monday, and having conversations with students in an interactive workshop Tuesday.
