LAKELAND COLLEGE, an independent liberal arts institution located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, in scenic northeastern Wisconsin midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay, seeks a qualified candidate for the above position. Reporting to and under the direct guidance of the Director of Financial Aid, responsibilities will  include managing and coordinating financial aid communications to our Kellett School of Adult Education ( evening education programs) students at our Main campus and our seven Adult Education Centers located around the state; evaluating student financial need according to the federal formula; awarding all sources of financial assistance; and monitor student aid applicants with appropriate follow-up to ensure completion of required documentation. The candidate will be required to attend professional development and financial aid training programs and possess the ability to present financial aid information at community events to address student/parent questions and concerns. This position is customer-focused and the candidate must provide flexible scheduling to meet the needs of students. An ability to work in a team environment and be detail conscious is critical. The candidate must also possess a working knowledge and use of computers including such information systems as Jenzabar EX, Power Faids and MS Office. Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned as needed.

 

A Bachelor degree is required and experience in higher education is preferred.
