Lakeland launches new Kellett student referral program

Adult Education - posted on 4/20/2012

Lakeland College launched a new student referral program that gives people the opportunity to earn donations for the charity of their choice by simply referring a student to the Kellett School of Adult Education.

As part of the Student Referral Charitable Gift Program, Lakeland College will donate $100 to a registered 501(c)(3) charity for every person who enrolls in classes after being referred by a friend, relative or coworker.

Here's how the Student Referral Charitable Gift Program works:

  • Encourage someone you know to check out our adult education program.
  • Complete and submit the referral form at http://lakeland.edu/referrals.
  • A Lakeland College counselor will contact the prospective student and answer any questions they might have regarding our program.
  • If a degree-seeking person you refer registers for a class (within 24 months from the date of your referral) and is enrolled after the 50 percent refund, class-drop date, Lakeland will send $100 in your name to the registered 501(c)(3) charity of your choice.

Restrictions do apply. For more information, visit http://lakeland.edu/referrals.
