This is a hilarious testament to human fallibility, revolving around the most ingenious case of manufactured mistaken identity ever put on the stage. Two friends, Algernon and Jack, have taken to bending the truth to pursue love – of course – but their deceptions cross paths and cause a series of crises that threaten their romantic pursuits. In trying to cover their tracks they unwittingly dig themselves deeper and deeper in this comic masterpiece.

Once upon a time, the young prince Pippin (son of Charlemagne) longed to discover the secret of true happiness and fulfillment. He sought it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of passion, and the intrigues of political power. At the end of his adventurous quest, he found it right where he started: in the simple pleasures of home and family. The energetic music explodes with one show-stopping number after another, from soaring ballads to infectious dance numbers.
