Brett Killion

Brett Killion
Mr. Brett M. Killion, CPA, joined the Lakeland faculty in 2012. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned both his bachelor's degree in accounting and Master of Accountancy degree. As a winner of Economics Wisconsin's Excellence in Teaching Economics and Financial Literacy Award in 2009, Brett is passionate about education and is a big believer in using active learning strategies in the classroom. Brett oversees the accounting curriculum at Lakeland and serves as the site coordinator for Lakeland's Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). Prior to joining Lakeland Brett was a successful high school girls' basketball coach at Luxemburg-Casco High School where his teams won three conference championships, three regional championships, and were the Division II state runner-ups in 2011. Brett is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf, volleyball, and tennis.
