Accounting Scholarships
The Melvin and Ellen Wagner Scholarship
$1000-2000, granted to qualified students who intend to major in accounting. An application is required, and can be requested from the admissions office. Selected students will be invited to campus to meet with Accounting faculty.

Lakeland College also offers a variety of academic scholarships that awarded to students based on their cumulative grade point average and their ACT or SAT scores. In addition to academic based scholarships, Lakeland College offers a competitive need-based grant program, which serves to ensure that all of Lakeland students applying for aid will indeed receive some. 2005 Reports Commentary regarding student performance on the CPA revealed the following:
- Lakeland is #1 in the nation in pass rates on three of four parts of the exam.
- Lakeland is #2 in the nation for first-time candidates passing exactly three parts of the exam.
- Lakeland is #4 in the nation for all candidates at a college or university passing at least three parts of the exam (first time testers and repeat testers)
- Lakeland is #6 in the nation for first-time candidates passing at least three parts of the exam.
- Lakeland is #9 in the nation for first-time candidates passing at least one part of the exam.
Lakeland's program is among the best in the nation.
