Katie Culotta

Dr. Katie Culotta, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, began at Lakeland in 2008. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. Students may be interested to know that Culotta is originally from the Chicago area and holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and political science from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. Her interest areas are race & crime, hate crime, policing policy and criminological theory. In her spare time, Katie enjoys photography, cheering on the Bears and Cubs, and chasing after her three kids with her husband, Jim.
