Lucretia Crawford
Dr. Lucretia Crawford, Associate Professor of English, teaches courses in literature and writing, subjects that led her to study in both England and Germany while completing her undergraduate degree at Lakeland. She began teaching at the college just three years later. Crawford is also very interested in the history of the Winnebago Indian School, a now non-operational boarding school in central Wisconsin. Among her accomplishments, Crawford received the 2002 Underkofler Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. In her spare time, she volunteers with Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Clark County Historical Society.
