Welcome!
The Lakeland College Music Department is a vital and active part of the college community. Student performers represent all academic divisions on the campus. We have a cooperative relationship with the athletic department and are able to accommodate athlete-musicians.
Visit again and follow our students as they make music throughout the year.

The Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra
Every year we have the opportunity to sing with the Sheboygan Symphony Chorus and Orchestra. Lakeland students are frequently featured as soloists with this exceptional orchestra.
The Lakeland Concert Choir joined the Sheboygan Symphony and Chorus for the "Christmas Treasures" concert. The performance included a scene from Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors." Lakeland alumna, Becky Charbonneau, played the part of Amahl's mother. In December of 2007 we will collaborate on Handel's "Messiah."
Sweet Charity
Our students have been performing in musicals directed by Charlie Krebs, formerly a faculty member at UW Sheboygan. This fall he will join the faculty at Lakeland and we will be producing a musical each spring semester. "Pippin" is scheduled for the spring of 2008. Call Lakeland for ticket information.
Music Department Banquet
The annual Music Department banquet is a great evening of awards, laughter and memories. The young women of the Music Department have an enormous collection of fun shoes
