Signe Jorgenson
Ms. Signe Jorgenson, Assistant Professor of General Studies, began at Lakeland in 2008. She comes to the college from Anchorage, Alaska, where she recently completed an MFA in Creative Writing. Her teaching experience includes work in composition, creative writing, and technical writing. Among her accomplishments, Jorgenson won the 2007 Northern Lights Essay Contest for her piece, "What We Do Here." Her essay "Blue Moon" was recently published in the Sonora Review. Students may be interested to know that Jorgenson is originally from Wisconsin.
