Katie Shumway
Ms. Elizabeth K. Shumway, Instructor of Spanish, has been teaching for Lakeland since 2002. She is a graduate of Marquette University. She has traveled and lived in Spain, Mexico, and Central and South America. During the summer, Shumway often accompanies her students abroad to live and study. She also enjoys volunteering in the community, camping, and walking her dog, Santiago. During the 2009-2010 academic year, Shumway will be living and teaching English at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali in Cali, Colombia.
