About Marketing
People who work in marketing have two interrelated jobs - to sell to clients what they are looking
to buy, and to get clients to want what is available for sale. The real art of marketing comes in the
various ways that marketers meet these two goals. Marketing is involved in all phases of production,
from conception to packaging, pricing to promotion. Someone has to do that research, come
up with those ideas, and pick that product name.
