Master of Education
Assessment, academic standards, technology, curriculum design - these are more than just buzzwords for professionals in today's complex world of education.
The small class sizes and
emphasis on projects that
I can apply to my classroom
brought tremendous value
to my educational
experiences at
Lakeland College
Today's teachers and administrators
need a broad range of skills to help their districts achieve goals of
providing top quality education to students. Lakeland College
understands the challenges that teachers face and has responded
with a 36-semester-hour Master of Education program designed to
provide basic knowledge and offer opportunities for learning
specific to a school or district's quality initiatives.
Courses are held one night a week allowing graduate students to
choose their own pace without giving up other important aspects of
their lives. Lakeland's M.Ed. faculty is a mix of our own talented
education professors, and respected educators and administrators
from surrounding districts.
Lakeland College offers both face-to-face and online instruction,
providing graduate students opportunities to blend learning
options suited to their active lives. Teachers will receive timely
and useful instruction and tools that translate directly into better
education for their students.
Meeting the Challenge
Each year, Lakeland College brings in an educational expert to discuss topics of interest to teachers and other educators in a hands-on, workshop style format for the Meeting the Challenge conference. Click here for more information!
