The program focuses on professionals already immersed in the industry, with an associate degree in a hospitality-related field, helping them to build upon their careers. The hospitality management major is one of Lakeland College’s most immediately practical majors, resulting in a career in lodging, food services, or in the golf and tourism industry. Hospitality and other service industries are an integral part of the new and emerging economy.

Students who major in hospitality management will be able to:

  • Understand and apply business and economic concepts and theories to hospitality contexts;
  • Appreciate the scope, magnitude, and nature of employment within the hospitality industry;
  • Demonstrate their skills in, knowledge of, commitment to, and talent for the hospitality industry;

Availability

The Hospitality Management Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree is currently offered at Lakeland College's Fox Cities Campus, Madison Campus and Milwaukee Campus with many courses offered BlendEd® and some offered entirely online.
