Muskies Drop LMC Match to Wisconsin Lutheran, 76-68

The Lakeland Muskies three game win streak was snapped by Wisconsin Lutheran with a 76-68 victory in a Lake Michigan Conference match-up in Milwaukee on Tuesday evening.
The Muskies had a six point lead with 9:24 remaining in the first half. However, with 6:25 remaining a 3-pointer by Nate Sorum knotted the score at 20-20 and the Muskies would never be able to regain the lead.
Luis Jiles led Wisconsin Lutheran with 16 points and made two key three pointers with 10:46 remaining and 8:58 remaining in the game to stop runs by Lakeland. The Warriors biggest lead was 12 with 26 seconds remaining in the game.
The Muskies, who shot 42 percent from the floor, were led by sophomore Danny Ehnert with 15 points and five rebounds. The Warriors shot 47 percent on the evening and had four players score in double figures.
The Muskies (5-2; 2-1 LMC) will finish the three game LMC road swing with a tough game at Marian on Saturday, Dec. 10 before returning home to face Concordia River-Forest on Dec. 17.
