Lakeland College senior defensive lineman, Nick Zeck, has been named co-Illini-Badger Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
The West Allis native collected 10 solo tackles and assisted on four others in a 20-16 loss to #15 Carthage last weekend. The 6-foot-5, 270 pound lineman also tallied three tackles for a loss on the evening as well. He shares the honor this week with Alex Dewey of Benedictine.
Lakeland (1-1, 0-0 IBFC) return home this Saturday to square off with #15 ranked UW-Whitewater at 1p.m.
