LMC Men's Soccer Tournament Dates Set

The Lakeland men's soccer team will open the Lake Michigan Conference tournament on Friday, Oct. 28, at 2:00 p.m.at Muskie Field on the Lakeland campus against Maranatha Baptist.

The Muskies, who finished the season with a 3-1-3 LMC record, tied for third place with Concordia. The Muskies earned the No. 3 seed by winning an LMC tiebreaker.

The winner of the LMC tournament will get an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament. The following is the complete LMC tournament seeding and schedule:


Quarterfinals - Friday, Oct. 28

#8 Marian @ #1 Dominican
#7 Wisconsin Lutheran @ #2 Edgewood
#6 Maranatha @ #3 Lakeland
#5 MSOE @ #4 Concordia

 
Semifinals - Tuesday, Nov. 1

Hosted by the higher seed
Winner of #1 Dominican/# 8 Marian vs. #4 Concordia/#5 MSOE
Winner of #2 Edgewood/#7 Wisconsin Lutheran vs. #3 Lakeland/#6 Maranatha

 

Championship - Friday, Nov. 4

Host by the higher seed
