Women's Soccer Host LMC Tournament Championship Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.

The second-seeded Lakeland women's soccer team will host fourth-seeded Dominican in the Lake Michigan Conference Tournament Championship Saturday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. at Muskie Field on the Lakeland campus.
The winner will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. NCAA pairings and seedings will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
The Muskies advanced to the tournament after defeating both #7 Maranatha and #3 Concordia, 1-0. The Muskies have relied heavily on their defense this season as junior goaltender Alli Weiss has set the single season shutout record this season with 13 so far.
The Muskies and Dominican met once in the LMC regular season in Sheboygan and Lakeland walked away with a 5-0 victory. However, Dominican has played well as of late, as they lost to Edgewood, 6-1, in the regular season before defeating them 2-1 in the semifinals.
