Wrestling Selected to Finish Third in LMC

Lake Michigan Conference wrestling coaches did not necessarily share
Lakeland 's enthusiasm for the coming season, as the Muskies were selected to finished third out of four LMC teams in the preseason coaches poll.
Last season, the Muskies finished 3-8 overall and 1-2 in the LMC.
Lakeland returns two experienced seniors in Lee Sparks and Tim Vallier, along with a talented recruiting class that includes 16 athletes that have placed fifth or better at state during their high school careers.
Concordia, Wis. , which finished 9-6 last season and 3-0 in the LMC, received two first place votes as they were tabbed to be at the top of the conference this season. Milwaukee School of Engineering (6-6, 2-1) also received two first place votes, and was second in the voting.
