Germayne James Gains Player Of The Week Honors

Lakeland College senior guard, Germayne James, has been named The Lake Michigan Conference Player of the Week.
The Richmond, Ind., product helped the Muskies to a 2-1 record last week, as they defeated two-time defending national champion UW-Stevens Point, 63-58, and Maranatha Baptist, 88-46, in their first Lake Michigan Conference game of the year.
Against Stevens Point, the 6-foot-1 guard shot 7-of-8 for 14 points, and he scored 13 points and nabbed eight steals in the victory over Maranatha. In the Muskies' loss to UW-La Crosse, James scored a team-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers. He shot 69 percent from the field and 57 percent on 3-point attempts on the week.
