Lakeland College linebacker Donnie Harris, a freshman from Bunnell, Fla., has been named Illini-Badger Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
Harris had three solo tackles, two assists, one tackle for loss and a sack of nine yards in Saturday's 48-0 win at Eureka College. He also caused a fumble, recovered a fumble and had an interception.
Lakeland, now 3-2 overall and 2-0 in IBFC play, travels to MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill., on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
