The Lakeland College football team will host a fundamental football camp in June, announced Lakeland head coach and camp director Jim Zebrowski. The camps will be split into two sessions, one for ages 9-13, the other for ages 8 and under.
The following is a schedule of the camps:
Session I (Ages 9-13): June 26-28 - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Session II (Ages 8 & under): June 29-30 - 9 a.m. - Noon
The 9-13 session will focus on techniques and basic fundamentals for all positions and also introduce campers to basic weight training techniques and film study. The session for ages 8 and under is designed to introduce the young athlete to the game of football.
Zebrowski has led the Lakeland football team to two consecutive Illini-Badger Football Conference Championships and the team's first ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Playoffs.
