Muskies win Big against Dominican

Sara Langenhorst scored 22 points and had six assists to lead the Lakeland women’s basketball team past Dominican University, 78-47, on Thursday.

Brenda Paulson added 15 points, while Beth Porter and Renee Steinert both chipped in with 14 points.

The Muskies out-rebounded Dominican by a staggering 42-24 margin, and held all but one Dominican player under 10 points.

Dominican is a provisional member of the Lake Michigan Conference. They are slated to join in the 2005-2006 season.

The Muskies, now 12-6 overall, return home to face conference opponent Alverno on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
