Lakeland College senior basketball standout Germayne James was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Midwest District Team on Monday.
James, the Lake Michigan Conference Player of the Year, was named to the District Second Team after leading the Muskies to a 21-6 record, their best since 1994, and a regular season conference title.
James led the team with 14.6 points per game, 3.2 assists per game and 1.7 steals per game. James also had a 1.9 assist/turnover ratiosecond-best in the conference behind teammate Aaron Regal (2.6).
