Muskies Drop Pair To MSOE

Six runs in two games was not enough for the Lakeland baseball team, as they dropped a pair of games against conference rival MSOE on Saturday, 6-3 and 5-3.
Sophomore Nate Brusewitz took the loss in the first game for the Muskies, giving up five runs on six hits with two strikeouts in five innings of work.
Junior Zack Schmitz took the loss in the second game, giving up eight hits in four innings of work.
On the day, freshman Matt Ambriz went 3 for 8 with one run scored. Junior Brett Nelson went 3 for 6 from the plate, also scoring a run and registering an RBI.
The Muskies (3-11, 2-4 LMC) will face St. Norbert College on Sunday, April 2 for a non-conference doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
