Ryan Maiuri
Lakeland College quarterback Ryan Maiuri and kicker Casey Kedrowski earned Illini-Badger Conference player of the week honors, the league announced Wednesday.
Maiuri, a junior from Sterling Heights, Mich., has been named IBFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Maiuri led the Muskies with 153 yards rushing and two touchdowns in Saturday's 47-6 win over Concordia, Ill. He also completed 19 of 26 passes for 193 yards and two more TDs.
Kedrowski, a sophomore from Plover, was named IBFC Special Teams Player of the Week. He punted three times for 122 yards and added two touchbacks on kickoffs. He was 5 for 6 on extra points.
Lakeland, now 5-3 overall, plays at Aurora on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in a key IBFC matchup.
