Senior Matt Andrews has been named Lake Michigan Conference baseball Player of the Week.
Andrews went 8-for-18 in five games last week for a .444 average. Andrews played a key role in both Muskie wins over Edgewood College, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored in Friday's 4-2 win. On Saturday he went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and a RBI in the 4-3 victory.
The Muskies (11-19, 8-7 LMC) travel to Carroll College on Tuesday for a non-conference doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
