Sophomore pitcher Rachel Griesbach has been named Lake Michigan Conference softball Player of the Week.
Griesbach went 5-0 last week with a 1.71 ERA, which included 26 strikeouts in 26.1 innings. Griesbach pitched a two hitter and a three hitter in Sunday's doubleheader sweep of Milwaukee School of Engineering. Griesbach currently remains undefeated in LMC play, holding an 8-0 record for the Muskies.
Lakeland (13-17, 8-4 LMC) will next take on Dominican in a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 26 at 3 p.m.
