Germayne James poured in a game high 21 points and Kris Saiberlich added 16 as the Muskies went on to defeat LMC foe MSOE 73-61 in Milwaukee.
The Muskies, coming off a tough loss to Wisconsin Lutheran on Wednesday, got a quick lift from Saiberlich who opened scoring with a three-pointer and the Muskies would never look back. The Muskies would build their lead and take a 16 point lead into the locker room, 39-23.
In the second half, the Raiders of MSOE would get as close as four, 52-48, with a little over seven minutes remaining, but excellent free-throw shooting from James and Saiberlich would give the Muskies the lift they needed, as they would roll past the Raiders by a final of 73-61.
Germayne James scored 21 points and added four rebounds and two assists while Kris Saiberlich chipped in 16 points and four rebounds of his own. Nick Zeck and Ryan Hiir both added nine points and seven rebounds a piece in the Muskie win.
The Muskies will next face off against Viterbo University on Monday night, January 17 at the Todd Wehr Center on the Campus of Lakeland College. Game time is set for 7pm.
