Muskies fall to Edgewood

Nick Zeck’s 22 points and three rebounds was not enough to lift the Muskies past the Eagles of Edgewood College, as the Muskies would fall by a final of 70-56.

Four Eagles scored in double figures to aid in the defeat.  The Muskies shot just 37 percent in the first half, hitting only nine of twenty-four shots.  The second half saw an improvement to 50 percent, but it was not enough for the overpowering offense of the Eagles. 

Germayne James added seven points for the Muskies while Ryan Hiir and Kris Saiberlich added six points in the failing effort. 

The Muskies will next return to action on Saturday, February 5th, as they will play host to Wisconsin Lutheran College as part of a men’s and women’s double-header.  Game time is set for 3:15pm.
