The Lakeland College men's soccer team had six players earn postseason honors as the Lake Michigan Conference announced the 2004 all-LMC soccer awards Tuesday.
Earning first team honors were Scott Kress, a sophomore forward from Kiel, and Ryan Holl, a junior defender from Plymouth, Ind. Kress was also a first team pick last season, while Holl was second team.
Senior midfielder Shuaib Basheer (United Arab Emirates) and sophomore midfielder Mike Gorack (Algonquin, Ill.) were honorable mention selections.
A pair of freshman midfielders - Zack Buchman of Waterford and Chris Christopherson of Kiel - were named to the all-rookie team.
The men's team finished 3-3 in conference play, 8-11-1 overall.
