Paulus Named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week

Freshman Brittanie Paulus received this week's Northern Athletic Conference women's volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week award for her efforts at the Southwestern Tournament in Georgetown, Texas, and in a NAC win over Maranatha Baptist.

Paulus, an outside hitter and defensive specialist from Belgium, Wis., averaged 9.2 kills per game and 16.2 digs per game for the week.

She also recorded team-highs in kills with 12 in the squad's win over Hardin-Simmons on Saturday, Oct. 14, and digs in a pair of losses on Friday, Oct. 13, with 19 against Ohio Northern and 18 against Southwestern University.

Paulus was also named to the All-Tournament Team for her work in the Southwestern Tournament.
