Lakeland to Open NAC Tournament at Dominican

The Lakeland College women's soccer team will open Northern Athletics Conference Tournament play on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Dominican University in River Forest, Ill. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.

The Muskies (10-7-1) finished in fifth place in the final NAC regular season standings, while Dominican (11-4-2) is the No. 4 seed.

Saturday's other first round game has No. 6 Benedictine University (7-11-1) playing at No. 3 Concordia, Wis., (10-8).

Saturday's winners will advance to the semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 31, where No. 1 seed Aurora (15-3-2) and No. 2 seed Edgewood (12-4) await as semifinal hosts. The championship game will be either Nov. 3, 4 or 5, depending on the host school.
