Roberts Earns Second NAC Student-Athlete of the Week Award

Freshman pitcher Sara Roberts was honored with this week's Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week award, her second of the season.

Last week, the Escanaba, Mich., native helped the Muskies earn an impressive 7-1 record in conference play, including throwing the second no-hitter of her career in an 8-0 win in game one of the squad's doubleheader with Edgewood last Monday, striking out four batters.

Roberts finished the week with 26 strikeouts, putting her at third in the conference for strikeouts with 43 and third in ERA with 0.78. She is also the NAC wins leader with 12 so far this season.
