Women's Soccer Drops Second Game of Greenville Tourney

The Lakeland College women's soccer team (0-2) dropped the closing game of the Greenville Tournament to Robert Morris College, 2-0, on Sunday, Sept. 2, in Greenville, Ill.

"We came out kind of flat and it was frustrating because we just couldn't get out of the blocks," said head coach Dave Madsen. "From what they had in terms of players I thought we should have been the better team, but we let the heat and some injuries have more of an affect than they should have."

The Muskies next chance to claim their first victory of the season will come in another non-conference game on Wednesday, Sept. 5, against Elmhurst College. Game time is set for 5 p.m. in Elmhurst, Ill.
