Kris Saiberlich
Lakeland College freshman Kris Saiberlich is No. 1 in the nation among NCAA Division III players in free throw shooting percentage this week.
Entering Thursday's game against Maranatha Baptist, Saiberlich, a Fond du Lac High School graduate, had made 41 of 43 free throws, good for 95.3 percent. He is one of only three freshman ranked in the top 25 in this category.
Saiberlich, who helped lead his high school teams to three state tournament appearances, is also ranked No. 22 in 3-point field goal percentage, hitting 44 of 98 shots for 44.9 percent.
He is currently leading the Muskies in scoring at 14.1 points per game.
