The Lakeland College men's volleyball team was able to come back from their unfortunate loss against Oshkosh with a Wisconsin Volleyball Conference match win over Carthage, with a score of 3-0 (30-12, 30-19, 30-23). This victory now brings the Muskies' conference record to 6-1.
Three players in particular were able to make significant contributions to the win for Lakeland. The first was Andrew Lietz, who had 8 kills, 8 digs, and 2 blocks. Jared Rohland had 6 kills, 4 blocks, and 1 ace, while Brian Valenti had 31 assists, 2 digs, and 1 ace.
The Muskies' next match is schedule for Feb. 16 at the Wisconsin Badger Bump-Around. Match times TBA.
