Men's Volleyball Ranked No. 4 in the Nation

The Lakeland College men's volleyball team is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation according to the season's first NIRSA Division I Top 25 poll, released on Thursday, Feb. 7.

The Muskies are one of four teams from the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference that is ranked, as UW-Oshkosh holds No. 1 spot while Marquette University is No. 23 followed closely by UW-Whitewater at No. 24.

Lakeland has started off the 2008 season strong, dropping only two matches out of 12 so far. Both losses were to UW-Oshkosh, whom the Muskies faced at this past weekend's Midwest 10 Tournament and in WVC play on Monday, Feb. 11.

The Muskies are now 5-1 in the WVC behind the undefeated Titans, and will host Carthage College in their next conference match on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Match time is set for 8 p.m.
