Muskies 3-0 After Day One of Pool Play

The Lakeland College men's volleyball team cruised through the first day of competition at the NIRSA National Championships with an undefeated 3-0 record to advance to the championship bracket on Thursday, April 10, in Dallas, Tex.

The Muskies (46-8) downed Stanford (25-23, 25-13) Missouri (25-18, 25-13) and Maryland (25-15, 25-21) all by 2-0 decisions.

"That win over Stanford was huge," said Lakeland head coach Chad Schreiber. "It was really an exciting back-and-forth type of game."

Lakeland will continue play at the national tournament on Friday, April 11. Match times and opponents TBA.
