Tonight, the Muskies took on Marian College in their final LMC Conference match of the season tonight. šThe Muskies would come out on top, defeating Marian three games to none.
The Muskies continued their winning ways, defeating Marian in a close first match, 30-25. The Muskies would play many of their seniors on senior night at the Todd Wehr Center and would come out on top in the second match 30-14. In the final match of the night, the Muskies would allow Marian to get close, but would prevail by a final of 30-24.
With the win, the Muskies move to 22-9 overall and 13-1 in conference. šThe Sabres of Marian College fall to 9-17, and finish 7-7 in the LMC.
Leading the way for the Muskies was Resi Ertler who added 16 kills, 13 digs, one ace, and one block. šLana Neuman added 39 assists, three kills, 10 blocks, and two blocks. šLeeann Hupfer added 10 kills and one block.
The Muskies will next be in action this weekend, Friday October 29th and Saturday October 30th at the UW-Whitewater Tournament.
