Lakeland junior Brittanie Paulus has received yet another honor from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
Paulus, an outside hitter on the women's volleyball team, has been chosen as a 2008 AVCA Division III honorable mention all-American just days after being named to the AVCA Division III All-Midwest Region team.
The Belgium native led the team in kills (337), digs (444) and service aces (28), leading the Muskies to a 25-11 overall record, a regular season league title, a conference tournament championship and a NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
Paulus was also awarded first-team all-Northern Athletics Conference accolades, and received the conference's Student-Athlete of the Week honor for women's volleyball twice during Lakeland's 2008 campaign.
