The Lakeland College men's volleyball team downed Carthage in three sets Tuesday night, winnin 25-15, 25-16 and 25-21 in a Wisconsin Volleyball Conference contest in Kenosha.
The Muskies (22-5, 7-1) had few problems in the straight-sets victory, allowing head coach Chad Schrieber an opportunity to shake up his playing rotations.
"It gave us a nice chance to try some new line combinations," said Schreiber. "Setter Brian Valenti (Chicago Ridge, Ill.) stepped in and ran the offense very well tonight."
Lakeland returns home against UW-Whitewater Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
