The No. 15 Lakeland College men's volleyball team fell to No. 1 UW-Oshkosh 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 23-25 in a Wisconsin Volleyball Conference contest on Thursday night in Oshkosh.

In a battle of teams undefeated in conference play, the Muskies (21-5, 6-1) struggled in the first two sets against the Titans before coming back to win the third, but couldn't get any breaks in the fourth set as they dropped their first conference match of the season.

"They played with more intensity in the first two sets and we were outplayed in every aspect," Lakeland coach Chad Schreiber said. "We turned it around in the final two sets, but every break went Oshkosh's way in the fourth set."

Senior outside hitter Joe Julkowski (Carol Stream, Ill.) led the Muskies attack, collecting 12 kills and freshman setter Mitch Wiskirchen (Schaumburg, Ill.) registered 34 assists.

Freshman Andrew Cheever (Milwaukee) tallied 13 digs and Ando Omerbegovic (Chicago, Ill.) recorded eight blocks as Lakeland committed 45 unforced errors on the evening.

The Muskies travel to Kenosha on Tuesday, March 10 for a WVC meeting with Carthage at 8 p.m.
