A pair of Lakeland women's soccer players, senior Amy Christenson and junior Leslie Oskey, have received spots on the Division III NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-Central Region team, as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America released the team earlier this week.

Christenson, a midfielder, earned second-team accolades. She has maintained a 3.98 grade point average as an accounting major at Lakeland.

The Dodgeville native ended her playing career in October after compiling 13 goals, which was second on the team, and three assists in 19 games as a starter. Christenson scored the game-winning goal in the Muskies' season finale, a 2-1 home victory over Marian.

Christenson earned honorable mention All-Northern Athletics Conference for her efforts.

Oskey, a goalkeeper/defender for the Muskies, received honorable mention. The Dodgeville native has accumulated a 3.55 GPA as a Spanish major at Lakeland.

In 12 games at keeper, Oskey, a Howards Grove native, led the team with a 2.05 goals against average and 42 saves on the year.
