The Lakeland College men's tennis team scored its first victory of the season, defeating Wisconsin Lutheran in a convincing 8-1 win Thursday afternoon in Northern Athletics Conference plat at the Kohler Sports Core.
The Muskies, victorious in five of six singles competitions, dropped only one set in nine matches played. Andre Glass, Kazu Yamasaki, Yuki Shiono, Dartanian Taylor and Tom Kuehl each recorded singles victories. Danny Spatchek tallied the lone Muskie loss in a three-set match.
In doubles action, Glass/Taylor, Yamasaki/Shiono, and Carlos Millan/Kuehl each scored victories over Wisconsin Lutheran.
The Muskies return to action Saturday, April 4 as they travel to River Forest, Ill., for a NAC match against Concordia Chicago.
