The Lakeland College women's soccer team is still searching for its first victory after a 6-0 loss Monday night in a non-conference match against Elmhurst in Elmhurst, Ill.
Elmhurst scored its first of four goals in the first half by finishing off a free kick in the box. Amy Baschen led the Bluejays with two goals as five different players scored for Elmhurst.
Junior goalkeeper Whitney England (Ashwaubenon) stopped 11 of 17 shots on goal as the Muskies were out-shot 37-7 as all 7 of Lakeland's attempts coming in the second half.
The Muskies (0-5) open up their 2009 Northern Athletics Conference schedule in Fond du Lac against Marian on Wednesday, September 16 at 7 p.m.
