Women's soccer fall's to St. Norbert

The first half was owned by St. Norbert.  The Knights tallied 8 shots in the half and were able to connect on four goals.

 

The first goal was at the 16 minute mark where Meredith Whitely scored off of a loose ball.  Knight’s forward Sara Gross slipped one past goalkeeper Alli Weiss (New Berlin) in the 27th minute to make it 2-0.  St Norbert was ale to find the back of the net by Cheryl Thornbarg cutting in front of the goal off of a cross by Corey Klein.  To finish off the half Katie Goshman found Meredith Whitley at the 43 minute mark on a cross to end it at 4-0.

 

The second half the Muskies came out strong but were shut out again.  St. Norbert was able to finish on one more goal at the 74 minute mark by Gross. The Muskies finished with 9 shots on goal with Amanda Smith (Neenah) leading the way with 6.

 

The Muskies next match will be a home game in Sheboygan under the lights at Horace Mann High School against Carthage at
