For the second time this season, fans of the Lakeland women's volleyball team are asked to wear white in an effort to create a "white-out" effect at Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium at this Thursday's match against Edgewood.
The contest, which begins at 7 p.m., features the second-seeded Muskies against No. 6 Edgewood in a Northern Athletics Conference Tournament semifinal.
The effort is part of a project for a class taught by sports & fitness studies instructor April Arvan. Participants have several chances to collect prizes throughout the match.
The Muskies (21-12) are gunning for their third consecutive NAC Tournament championship and their second straight automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
