The Lakeland men's tennis team has been selected to finish third in the Northern Athletics Conference by the league's coaches in a preseason poll released Wednesday.
The Muskies, who finished third at the NAC Championships last season after compiling a 5-3 conference record (5-8 overall) during the regular season, totaled 60 points in the poll.
Three-time defending champion Concordia, Wis., was picked to win its fourth consecutive title, receiving six of the nine first-place votes.
MSOE, the league's runner-up the last two years, received the other three first-place votes and finished two points behind the Falcons.
Lakeland returns three-time NAC Tournament champion Andre Glass at No. 1 singles. Glass, a senior from Kenosha, Wis., owns a career record of 19-1 in conference regular season play and is a two-time NAC Player of the Year.

Lakeland, which is 1-3 through four non-conference dual meets this season, opens its conference slate at home on April 10 against Concordia Chicago and Dominican.
The winner of the conference tournament championship will receive the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
