Muskies fall to Stars at Homecoming

Dominican University defeated the Lakeland College volleyball 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 26-24) Friday night. Even the energy brought about by the homecoming festivities could not help the Muskies.

In the loss, the Muskies were led by junior middle Allison Davis (Sheboygan, Wis.), senior setter Kristine Raeder (Sheboygan Falls, Wis.), and junior libero Amanda Laganowski (Oostburg, Wis.). Davis led the team with nine kills, Raeder had a team-high 25 assists and Laganowski had 11 digs.

The loss drops the Muskies overall record to 4-15 and 2-6 in the Northern Athletics Conference.

The Muskies return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 12 as they travel to Maranatha Baptist. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
